Project carried out to support a bank loan application as a real estate investment.
Audrey's spare apartment is basically a former long and narrow porch parallel to the main house. The initial rehabilitation of 2016 was revised to become brighter and more practical. The flow of the distribution of the rooms was changed. The narrow passage from the outside, unattractive at the base, was embellished with a trompe l'oeil of a Mediterranean landscape printed on a decorative tarpaulin ordered to measure to give a visual perspective to the project. The kitchen area was moved to the living room. It benefits from maximum sunlight thanks to the creation of two large bays. The small garden area is decorated with a chill-out area. The only extension made is a dressing room which is located as an extension of the bedroom and which solves the initial lack of storage.
It is always easier and faster to provide a diagram and a drawing of a project: whether from the client or the craftsman. This allows a better understanding of the two stakeholders.
